Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of intellectual capital to abnormal stock return and financial perfomance of banking firms. The abnormal stock return was measured by cumulative abnormal return (CAR), and average abnormal return (AAR), the companys financial perfomance measured by return on assets (ROA), assets turn over (ATO) and growth in revenue (GR). Laten variables used in this study was the perfomance of intellectual capital as measured by VAIC (VACA, VAHU, STVA). The sample study was using banking company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2011-2015. Research data using purposive sampling method. Data obtained amounted to 75 companies in the period 2011-2015. This study uses PLS version 3.0 to analyze the data. The result showed that significant intellectual capital positive significantly effect the abnormal stock return and financial perfomance that measured by CAR, AAR, ROA and ATO, but no effect on GR. Overall, this research found that structural capital (STVA) gives the most contribution in creating value added of the company.Keywords: intellectual capital, cumulative abnormal return (CAR), and average abnormal return (AAR), return on assets (ROA), assets turn over (ATO), growth in revenue (GR)

Abstract

The financial statements are the financial information presented and delivered by a company to internal and external parties , which includes all business activities of an entity which is one of accountability and communication management tools to the parties that need . The financial statements are the primary means of communicating financial information to parties outside the company . In companies that have gone public they are required to report their financial statements to the public , is governed by Law no.8 of 1995 on capital markets . This study aims to provide empirical evidence about the factors that affect the timeliness of financial reporting, namely; Company size (SIZE), ownership structure (OWN), Provitabilitas, Leverage and Liquidity. Samples were selected by using purposive sampling , which means that the sample used in this study are samples that meet certain criteria . Intended use of this method is to obtain a representative sample . Then the samples used in this study are 240 manufacturing companies that report financial statements in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The results of this study found empirical evidence that firm size (SIZE) positive effect with variable probability of 0.008 , a positive leverage effect with a variable probability of 0,003 and a positive effect on liquidity. While the ownership structure (OWN) no positive effect with the probability of 0.936 and profitability varaibel no positive effect with a variable probability of 0.676 . Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the product Quality positive and significant impact on the purchase decision and whether Quality of Service positive and significant impact on the purchase decision. The independent variables in this study is the Product Quality and Service Quality . While the dependent variable is the purchase decision . This research was conducted at Honda Star Motor Dealers Samarinda , using a sample of 60 consumers who meet the criteria . This research is quantitative . The data collection is done by collecting a questionnaire to test the Product Quality and Service Quality partially. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression . The results of this study indicate that the product quality is positive and significant impact on the purchase decision and Quality of Service positive and significant impact on the purchase decisionKeywords: Product Quality, Service Quality, Purchase Decision

Abstract

Instill the entrepreneurial spirit is not an easy thing to do because there are several factors that must be considered in growing interest in entrepreneurship. Some of the factors in question are a factor that comes from outside and inside the private student among other entrepreneurial traits and skills as well as contextual factors. Each of these factors consists of several indicators that are measured using a Likert scale of 1 to 5. Population and sample in this research is the students of S1 Faculty of Economics and Business, University Mulawarman Samarinda ever take entrepreneurship courses or have completed entrepreneurship training both inside and outside the college campus. Population and sample in this study were 98 students, in order to qualify for the analysis of the data used in this research is using Structural Equation Model PLS. The results showed that the traits and contextual variables entrepreneurial no significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, while variable entrepreneurial skills significantly influence entrepreneurial interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of Quality of Work Life and Motivation Intrinsic on Employee Performance. This research was conducted at the Hospital A.M. Parikesit Tenggarong Seberang. The sample of this study consists of 62 respondent. Sampling method using simple random sampling. The data in this study using primary data, interviews and questionnaires. Hypothesis test used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS for Windows Version 21. The results of this study show that: 1) Quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Hospital A.M. Parikesit Tenggarong Seberang, 2) Motivation intrinsic has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Hospital A.M. Parikesit Tenggarong Seberang.
